We solemnly swear
We're up to no good
With Dungbombs and frogspawn
The four of us stood
Moony, the werewolf
Always brave and wise
Young in his bones
Yet old in his eyes
Wormtail, the rat
With potential and use
His betrayal killed many
But he got his dues
Padfoot, the dog
Who was loyal and brave
He would die for his friends
No matter how much he misbehaved
Prongs, the stag
Born talented and clever
Would die for his family
Loyal, forever
Though they all perished
They are not truly gone
With each passing generation
Their legacy lives on

Withered before his time.
Wolf he becomes,
But not of his choosing.
Wormtail;
Silent and dark,
Stolen from the path.
Rat to his nature,
Rotten to the bone.
Padfoot;
Loyal and Pure,
Placed with the lion.
The grim in apperance,
Vanished beyond the vail.
Prongs;
Free and winded,
Seeking from year one.
The stag his mark,
Betrayed by a thoughtless friend.
Their friendship is legend,
Unseen in the passages of hogwarts.
Passed have two,
All soon to the lost,
In the passages of eternal time.

A Morning with the Marauders
"POTTER, GET OUT OF BED OR I'LL DRAG YOU OUT BY YOUR STUPID HAIR!"
Sirius was not a morning person.
"TOUCH MY HAIR AND I'LL SEND YOU TO THE GREAT HALL WITH YOUR TAIL BETWEEN YOUR LEGS!"
James loved mornings. As long as they were spent in bed, of course.
"COME ON THEN, YOU SPECCY GIT, HAVE A GO!"
"GLADLY, IF I WEREN'T AT RISK OF FLEAS!"
"I'LL SHOVE YOUR BLOODY ANTLERS UP YOUR ARSE!"
Remus and Peter were once impartial, but had acquired particular disdain for mornings after not experiencing a quiet one in six years.
"Sirius, put your wand down, you've already got a week of detentions from Saturday." Remus warned as he adjusted his tie.

Just by a simple flaw
We like causing trouble
That is our main cause.
We roam the grounds at night
And transform at full moon
We rarely ever fight
Our friendship can't be ruined.
We are the Marauders

And when we get older

I've gone and gotten myself re-addicted to the Harry Potter series. I love the Marauders, except for Pettigrew. I wish Remus could have accidentally eaten him during a full moon. Would have saved much more lives.
It was pretty hard to make up something for Wormtail. The last line "But her got his dues" means that he got what he deserved in the end.
The last stanza was something part of a different poem I was writing and gave up on.
